Phi Delta Theta from Seton Hall helps out!

Posted Fri, Nov 17th, 2017 News

"From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life." ~ Arthur Ashe

Michael Wing and his fellow fraternity brothers from Phi Delta Theta stopped down at St Johns this passed Saturday (Nov. 11), to help give back to the community and help the disadvantaged population of Newark. We are grateful for their help in preparing the church for our annual mass. Thanks to their hard work, the church was clean for a service we held on Sunday, "The Doer & Donor Mass", which was dedicated to Barbara Maran. We are thankful for their timely arrival in helping us prepare for such an important event. They didn't stop after cleaning the church, and asked how else they could help. They then served the meals to the men and helped prepare the men's dining hall for our lunch hour. We are extremely thankful for their hard work, their humility and the humble manner in which they performed the tasks. We look forward to seeing them again!
